Guru sites are websites typically created for professionals in a specific niche market. Some examples are motivational speakers, consultants, or even artists or musicians.

These sites typically are designed to promote the guru as the brand. To be effective, these sites need to be frequently updated with blogs and informational articles. They also need to encourage visitors to interact with the site to leaving comments and signing up for newsletters. Oftentimes, they will have a simple shopping cart for buying books and e-books, training materials, or tickets to events and seminars.

As the oldest and one of the most influential business organization in Washington, the Thurston County Chamber consists of businesses and organizations working together to make Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, Yelm, and other growing communities and businesses profitable and strong.
