AMC Website Design and Development

Alternative Marketing Connections specializes in making modern websites that are social media friendly from the ground up. All sites we build, large or small, are designed not just to provide information, but to interact with your visitors and encourage them to return to your site often to get new and updated information. They are also designed to interact directly with your social media presence. The combination of our social media setup, management, and our social media friendly Web design provides a powerful online marketing system for any size business.

Below, you'll find three categories of websites that we frequently build. Keep in mind, however, that these are just examples. We can build a custom package specifically for your business.

"Guru" Websites

Guru sites are websites typically created for professionals in a specific niche market. Some examples are motivational speakers, consultants, or even artists or musicians.

These sites typically are designed to promote the guru as the brand. To be effective, these sites need to be frequently updated with blogs and informational articles. They also need to encourage visitors to interact with the site to leaving comments and signing up for newsletters. Oftentimes, they will have a simple shopping cart for buying books and e-books, training materials, or tickets to events and seminars.

Corporate Websites

Corporate websites often are largely informational in nature. They typically provide information about the business itself, the products and services they offer, and how to contact them. For small businesses they might be as few as 5 to 10 pages; for a large business they may be dozens or hundreds of pages.

As a rule, the more information your website priovides, and the more frequently it is updated, the more the search engines, like Google and Bing, will be interested in them.  In order to keep your site content fresh, it should be possible for your marketing and communications staff -- not just your web designer -- to be able to add content in a timely manner.

Social Community Sites

If you know how to turn on a computer, you've probably heard of the popular social networking sites, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and MySpace. While it's critical for businesses and organizations to develop a marketing strategy for these popular sites, it's also possible to create a social media site for your own entity.

Alternative Marketing Connections can build a social community as a part of a website that it designs, or as an independent community link to your existing or new website.
