Corporate Websites

Corporate websites often are largely informational in nature. They typically provide information about the business itself, the products and services they offer, and how to contact them. For small businesses they might be as few as 5 to 10 pages; for a large business they may be dozens or hundreds of pages.

As a rule, the more information your website priovides, and the more frequently it is updated, the more the search engines, like Google and Bing, will be interested in them.  In order to keep your site content fresh, it should be possible for your marketing and communications staff -- not just your web designer -- to be able to add content in a timely manner.

In addition, while these sites are designed primarily to inform the public, they are far more interesting to visitors if they are interactive and contain regularly updated content. All the sites AMC builds are designed so that any person with the ability to use a word processor can add content to your website.  Our corportate sites are typically built in Joomla!, which allows us to add user permission levels to:

  • Submit new content
  • Edit new content
  • Publish new content
  • Create new content sections

This means that virtually anyone in your organization can write a new article without you having to worry about to design of your website being accidentally damaged.

Alternative Marketing Connections builds corporate sites with interactive features, including news, corporate blogs, and visitor comments and rating capabilities, all of which increase search engine rankings and attract more visitors. Every page also has built-in links to almost 100 social media services. We can even build a custom-branded social network right into your website.

In addition our own site (www.altmktg.com), you may also look at the following examples of corporate-style sites we've built:

Example Site: SSBarter (SSBarter.com)
